Honestly with us losing only flau’jae, joiner, and Gilbert (unless she redshirts) we don’t need a huge recruiting class especially guards

Sucks but I guess with the way Mulkey only uses about 8-10 players, we can always grab what we need out the portal.

I really don’t think we needed Robinson. Grab a big or two and a pg from the portal and we’ll be fine. The 27 class will be a good one.

Well, I was hoping we might be able to still pull Robinson despite the fact that she would more than likely be coming off the bench her freshman season.................and more than likely the 2nd or 3rd player coming off the bench. Gone are the days when UConn and Tennessee would just stockpile the best players, even if they knew they wouldn't get significant minutes in their firs two seasons. Nowadays, kids want to play right away and that wasn't going to be possible here at LSU OR at UConn for that matter. So, essentially, we only got one recruit in this high school cycle. Normally that would be bad, but with all we have coming back next season, we're still in good shape!

LSU had #1 class 2025 (5 recruits). Jerzy would have been great, but not huge loss this time. We have one 5-star post recruit for 2026. We have #1 freshman class coming back next year. Kim can get 1 or 2 players of need in the portal for next year, no problem. We're still in good shape. 2027 class will be good mix of 5-star recruits to pick from, like 6'6" Caroline Bradley from LA.

I feel like Sara Okeke would a bigger get than Robinson anyway. Okeke is a big and we need forwards and a center more than guards next season. Fingers crossed for Okeke. ??

Brune had a great point to just use the money allocated for Jerzey and make a huge offer for Okeke.
