LSU’s transfer portal needs? Basically an ENTIRE offense.

Currently we have:
- NO QB
- a young (and terrible) O-line
- a very small RB room
- one our best WRs just declared for the draft
I know Kiffin will make moves in the portal but the state of the current offensive personnel is concerning

Perfectly stacked at WR . Always.

Wouldnt hurt to pick up a WR1 dog, i guess.

Line needs work.

We are set at RB.

QB will be the first thing addressed.

Its not as bad as it seems.

Any good TEs in the portal?

Competent coaching would make the OL
and offense look so much better. You have talent.

We don’t really need one either, wouldn’t be mad if sharp left though and we get someone else

We have pieces, but certainly need more depth.

Green is a mismatch god.

Berry is a talented back.

Parker can produce.

Moore is coming back.

Sharp severely underperformed all year. His ceiling is ULL type player.

The good news is the offense completely sucked. Keep Moore, Green, K Parker and a few young other receivers, Berry and build around that.

QB- 3. One sure fire starter and two competitive backups.

RB- 2. Lacey and a replacement for Durham/Berry whichever leaves. Probably need to sign another or high school in Feb.

WR- 3

Oline- 4

DT- 2

DE- 2

CB- 2

S- 2

OP what do you proposed Kiffin does about it at the moment? Everyone in the free world is aware of LSU’s needs, but until the portal opens there won’t/can’t be any change. Relax and enjoy the Holiday. Your coach is working overtime to course correct the situation.

I don't think talent/athletic ability was the issue at Oline. Adams should be back, Ory Williams looked good at RT in limited reps. Though an impact OT is still high on the list. Plenty of bodies at guard and new coaching and scheme should help there. Center is a big question considering Echols was recruiting to play there but hasn't seen reps.

With the WRs reportedly coming from Ole Miss probably just need 1 move guy. But that also depends on which big name guys hit the portal.

RB, confident that Lane can find a couple of guys. I'd be happy if LSU can keep Berry/Durham and grab some guys for depth. (I still want Berry to bump to WR/RB).

QB... Yeah. Luckily there are a ton of QBs in the portal already and LSU will be on all of them.

And the guy most likely to follow Frank Wilson, though that is not a given, as some may have suggested.

I hope Durham comes back, and he has actually performed better than Berry. Better YPC, more 20+ yard carries, longest run better than Berry's, more receptions, and more yards per catch.

Both of them, plus Kewan Lac,y would be a monster RB room.

Sharp needs to be shown the door. Dude was terrible. Couldn't block one guy for a screen ever and if he did catch the ball would just fumble it.

Sharp is a 5th year senior so he's out of eligibility.

TE room is fine with Green, Green, Lafleur, and the incoming frosh Anderson.

Need to know what Lacy's injury is. I like our RBs with this new system more than Lacy. Just need to add a different body style to the mix.

Depends on who stays, we cannot expect to find 4 starting lineman in the portal. Moore is the No.1 get that we could ask for on the line...Curne could be 2 if his move was to test the waters to get paid, and nothing more. RT between Adams/Williams should be okay. That leaves us potentially with 2 O Line needs.

WR - I think we can do better than all Ole Miss transfers at WR. No disrespect at all to those guys. Miller from Colorado, paired with a guy from Ole Miss would be fine. Taron Francis and Kyle Parker next year will be good money.

Am not of the belief that we need 2 CBs. We had a decent haul last year at that spot aside of DJ Pickett. Next season Pickett and Woodland will be our starters, so if you want to go get another guy who has played alot i'm okay with that, but we don't need another CB1 type guy...Woodland showed he is ready and has what it takes to be a guy we can depend on.

We lose Haulcey, but keep the Spears and Cooley. We still have Joel Rogers, and Anning (not sure if he's a CB or S). Do we get 1? Maybe.

I think we need to explore options at edge. If we can get a plug and play edge like Stewart, to pair with what we have returning and coming in...that'd be golden.

I really like our LB room. Maybe get a plug and play guy...but I'm not sure how you keep those young guys off the field after a full offseason of learning.

I also work with a guy from the Alexandria area who was speaking with someone who knows the Lindsey family and has been a coach in the area. He (the family friend) told my co-worker that he expects Lindsey's situation to be cleared up shortly, Lindsey will be back on the team (he is still enrolled and completing his required hours), and that Lindsey really had no idea about how much trouble those guys were in. I'm not sure how much I believe he was clueless, but I could see the charges being dismissed or reduced to a misdemeanor. Lindsey would be a welcome addition.

What's awesome is that this was the OM offense situation after last season and look what Lane was able to STILL pull off? Anyone else notice all of the boring offenses this weekend except against the cup cakes? Lane + LSU is going to dangerous.
