They want the message to be that the big bad Republicans are denying healthcare to kids. Of course the real thing they are trying to do is offer hormone blockers, life altering surgeries and shite that messes up children for life whose brain cannot fully comprehend what they think the need or want. Doctors who go along with this charade should lose their license and hospitals have to be held accountable. These people are evil.

I'm surprised so many people are tricked by such an obvious and fundamental logical fallacy. FIrst of all, there's no such thing as gender. There's only sex, and we should stop using the word gender altogether.
As for the logical fallacy, no one has ever, in the history of humanity, successfully transitioned from male to female. Therefore, it's not possible to be a "trans" person if you can't actually succeed in the transition. Someone who is in a constant state of "transition" is not in a state of transition at all.

This is a good line to draw morally and politically.
Gender dysphoria is a thing, and we can have compassion for those who suffer from it. But, any treatment other than psychiatric would be immoral. This is another 80/20 political, common sense issue that favors the Republicans.

Bringing this even further. If a mental illness is abnormal thinking that affects your daily life then a man thinking he is a woman, dressing like a woman and living as a woman is the very definition of a mental illness. And the reason it is an abnormal thought is because no man will ever be able to think like a woman nor understand what it's like to BE an actual woman.
The only healthcare needed is mental health care and we stopped funding that shite 40 years ago.
