Off-season Topic: Uniforms under Lane

Do we expect to see changes to our uniforms? More consistent all whites? More purple jerseys? Different helmet looks?
I know we stick to our traditional Yellow, White, Yellow - but Kiffin being a mastermind in branding - do we expect him to push for different combos that we've never even seen?

First off, our colors aren’t yellow. Secondly, I’m not a big fan of the all whites. I would like to see a couple of times a year we wear the purple jersey. It can be with white pants or gold. Both look really good. But we are LSU and it’s GOLD, White, GOLD

It was nice seeing us go back to our traditional combo more often than not this year. There are certain games we should always wear g-w-g like when we play bama, auburn, UF, Texas, Oklahoma.

We got a new equipment manager under kelly. I have not heard if he is being retained or not. That is usually the guy who suggests uniform combinations. The new guy apparently didn’t like purple.

How about having uniforms that are real old gold and real purple rather than all these different blends of yellow and blue across all sports.

Other than an Independence Bowl game vs Notre Dame in the late 90s, LSU has worn YELLOW helmets in every game I’ve ever seen that wasn’t the white or purple helmets.

LSU doesn't have an identity crisis. The uniform is traditional and iconic. End of story.
