This is an absolute joke. Win a P4 conference championship or be ranked higher enough to get in. No DEI for G5 teams!

Aren’t they in as one of the highest ranked conference champs? Which is also a flaw in the system.

Blame the acc for being shitty on how they determine a conference champ. Blame the pac 10 for no longer existing.

Y’all somehow made DEI a retard whistle

Inclusion is the point sometimes. That’s why leagues and other NCAA tourneys have auto-bids. It’s the point.

It's a terrible point. You've got better teams sitting at home watching this scrub suck arse.

This. And just use the bcs. We had a working system. Just needed to added 6 teams and call it a day with 7 bowls. Done

yup.

the computer polls with a built in SOS metric helped SEC teams greatly. and the QUALITY WIn metric on the side of that.

Then when notre dame cries and dont get in we can say well play better teams not our problem!

NCAA baseball
NCAA basketball
NFL
Etc

All have paths for “auto-bids”

Georgia, JMU, and Tulane all got in the same way technically

Y’all just bitching because this is new. You’re reacting how they hope you will so they can expand this thing again.

are not even comparable to football. Yes, in baseball a small school can and does win games....basketball it happens less than baseball, but it happens. Football, gtfo. This is like a single A private school playing West Monroe back in the day.......meanwhile you have teams sitting at home (Texas and ND, to name a few) that would be double digit favorites over both, and cover easily, just like OM and Oregon did. This participation trophy bs isn't for College football. These schools have ZERO chance.

12 is not the problem it’s the 12 best. Not one person that seriously follows college football would objectively say Tulane or James Madison is one of the top 12 teams.

Happens every season

Don’t forget there have also been plenty of playoff blowouts between P4 teams

Not gonna argue with you dude. If you can't see the extreme difference in talent I'm not about to try and explain it to you.

Those “better teams” like Notre Dame and Texas had their opportunity to win games and make the playoffs. ND probably should have gotten in over Alabama the way they lost in the SEC-C, but otherwise ND doesn’t have much of a gripe.

I'd argue that the reality is that there are probably 40 teams better than each.....every single team in the SEC would be favored over both...even 0-8 Arkansas....and they would win too.
