By the time this is all over with, Newscum will claim he had to do it in order to save "his" economy which, because of him, is now the 3rd largest in the world. The MSM will praise him and promote ticker tape parades.

Duffy needs to tell Cali if they do that, EVERY Cali CDL will be suspended.

Seems like the list of reissued CDL's would be a prime prospecting tool for ICE.

On a philosophical side I’m ok with him reinstating these CDLs for state use but ultimately crossing state lines gets into federal regulated commerce from my general understanding.

Plus put pressure on the trucking companies' insurance carriers. You hire an illegal immigrant no coverage.

Checkpoints at every bordering state. Every driver found illegally having a bogus DL, confiscate truck and goods. Resell them to highest bidders with proceeds to pay for the operation. Fine trucking company as well.
Also check all trucks going into Cali for illegal drivers that are returning.
