baseball or basketball? both doesn't count. i get really pumped for the basketball team because it's a better sport to watch plus most of the players are from BR. you can cheer for basketball all year long bc baseball season doesn't start till omerha.

Basketball. The sport receives a lot more national attention and brings in more revenue. Having said that, there is no reason LSU can't be HIGHLY competitive in all 3 major sports.

Baseball, no doubt. Baseball is bigger at LSU for sure.

i think more students care about basketball than baseball though. the baseball fans are more of the older crowd save for a few younger guys.

Matter of opinion. I'll be there next weekend and plan to attend as many games as possible.

Thanks to five national championships. Before Bertman came along and even a few years after LSU basketball was a clear second behind football. The basketball scandal in the 90's and the inconsistent showing under Brady set back LSU basketaball quite a bit.

I personally care more about baseball, but I believe for the school it is better to do well in basketball. More exposure.

not sure, WAY more excitement from everyone about basbeall season starting than when basketball started.( this could be from expectations though) Baseball= tailgating too. If basketball was ranked number 1 preseason though who knows how everyone would act.

I love basketball, but a sunny sunday afternoon in april at the box beats anything Ive ever seen in the pmac.

Unfortunately, I'm assuming you are too young to have experienced the wild and crazy days of the PMAC. A lot of the "new" LSU fans (not referring to anyone specifically)that have come on board since 2003 have no clue what LSU basketball and the PMAC are capable of.

I don't believe that and it is disturbing if true.

Basketball gets more fans per game, brings in more money, gets shown on National TV more often, etc.

grew up in tennessee so the dozens of home games ive gone to have been the last 2 years. its MUCH better this year. I always get to the games 15 mins early and last year I could sit in the maniacs section when I got to game. Now, I'm stuck in the upper decks every game.

IMO it is. Last year there was a sunday that a baseball game and a basketball game were going on at the same time. About a thousand more people were at the baseball game than the basketball game ( I went to both)....and this was BEFORE we got on our hot streak last year in baseball.
