You are trying to make sense over the motives of someone insane.
I don't think he was targeting anyone in an econ class. 20 years ago when he was a student it was all physics classes in that building.
he just went in blasting. probably expected the cops to kill him at the scene. but he didn't count on speedy gonzales being a DEI hire.

Was College Republicans Vice President Ella Cook shot multiple times and everybody else who was injured or killed was collateral damage for the killer?
Will forensics be able to determine she was the target?
Did Brown, the police, and the coroner know the truth and didn’t release this assessment which could have helped protect the public?
Was the MIT professor someone who refused to help the shooter with their previous relationship by harboring him but his no got him killed?
Did Brown systematically turn off cameras to protect special groups from ICE in August?
Should the DOJ launch an investigation into the negligence of Brown violating Cook’s civil rights and ultimate loss of life?
