I can't find any verification of this. I would love for it to be true, because if so I think it would be major, but so far it's nothing but Daugherty and a few other conservative and crypto accounts on X making this claim with no official confirmation from anywhere.

My money is on, if he makes some sort of major announcement at 1pm that it won't come from the white house. It will come from Twitter. He's got 88 million followers on Twitter and hasn't posted at all this entire year. The reach of him dropping a short and sweet announcement on Twitter would be off the charts. Hundreds of millions of impressions within hours. All major accounts (pro and con) retweeting forcing wall to wall media coverage.
