I want to talk about Sam Worthington for a minute...

I looked up his net worth here a few minutes ago and the internet says the guy is worth $40 million. I feel like this guy just came out of nowhere in 2009. He starred alongside Christian Bale in Terminator: Salvation that summer and then just went on a tear with films like Avatar and Clash of the Titans and video games like Call of Duty: Black Ops.
He seemingly came out of nowhere after living in his car in Australia to become one of the biggest blockbuster stars of the 2000s.

He should have worked a better deal out for himself for Avatar. Maybe he couldn’t get it at the time because he wasn’t widely known.
It’s pretty well known they wanted Matt Damon to be in Worthington’s role in Avatar, and offered him 10% of the box office for the franchise. That means Damon turning that down lost him over 500 million.
Avatar 2.9 Billion at the box office, Avatar: The Way of Water 2.3 billion at the box office. 5.2 billion, or 520 million for Damon.

Honestly I think he’s one of the worst actors out there. Always stiff. No emotions. Just terrible.

He was in a few Australian movies & won their highest honor for Somersault.
I've never really been a big fan. Too bland or something.
I never feel engaged
Cameron has stated that casting Worthington was a deliberate creative choice, not a fallback option. If you believe that.

He's the perfect choice. Worthington isn't going to bigger better things so he'll be there to make as much of that crap as Cameron wants.

Terrible actor.
Can’t be as overrated as Eric Bana

He was a finalist for James Bond also. When it went to Craig. Him and Cavill.
He’s not a good actor, but he’s definitely a great story. And he’s successful.
