Is it worth a watch? This weekend I plan on starting a binge of Mad Men and The Sopranos (two shows I’ve never watched), but want to add a third show. I am thinking The Pitt could be that show. For those who love it: tell me about it.

Great show. Checks all of the woke boxes. But, doesn't necessarily hit you over the head with it.

It's basically R Rated ER with nudity and language.

ETA: It may not be the nudity you want to see.

It definitely checks the boxes, I think part of the reason it doesn't seem like it hits you on the head with them is because of how fast paced it is. By the time you're catching up to it they've moved on to something else

it follows the 24 timeline

12 episodes= 12 hours in the ER.

The whole season is 1 12 hr shift

There are 15 episodes covering 15 hrs. Think there is some overlap of the shifts.

Pretty good. There is usually some graphic injury in each episode which is kind of gross.

I dislike hospital dramas. I really liked the Pitt. Really good “action” combined with nice storylines and interesting characters.

Well written and extremely well shot. If you liked ER, you’ll love The Pitt. Agree with everything else said- it touches on a lot of hot button issues, but doesn’t harp, dwell or shove it down your throat one way or another. I thought it was incredible, and can’t wait for Season 2.

It’s a really good show, even when they blame the right for a big event. Still worthy of a watch

Loved it. So well done.

It does beat you over the head with left wing talking points. But I didn’t care at all. Such a good show.

It’s very good. It makes you want to immediately start the next episode to keep up with the various storylines. A little left wing political in spots but not too bad. Makes you very glad to not work in an ER.

My only fear for season 2 is they said they were gonna get darker. I don’t really want that. Season 1 got dark enough.

It is a very good show

It clearly had a woke subject quota because they jammed so many in and it did, admittedly, annoy me. But I do agree with the other poster who said they move through it pretty quickly so sometimes you don't have to deal with it for long.

It is both simultaneously an excellent, excellent show and the low key wokest show I have ever seen in my life

Once you see what they are doing you can't unsee it, its actually quite hilarious
