Let him Coach. If LSU wins, great. If they lose, blame it on Frank. Win Win situation.

Yeah let frank continue to snake lsu . If he was telling kids not to sign with LSU until he had a word on his future I wonder what he gonna tell them / lsu roster what to do now that he has a job at lsu rival

I’d simply let him go.. don’t make it a bigger deal than it needs to be.. he’s got a new job and he should go ahead and get started while thanking him on the way out.. let Baker coach the game..

Look, I don't like the LSU coaches coaching Ole Miss and i don't like Frank coaching LSU in the bowl, but I don't think Frank was telling kids not to sign with LSU.
They probably asked if he was going to still be on staff and he told him, he wasn't sure, so some waited a couple of days, but we basically got all of them to sign.
Even if all (we have 2 now) our backs go to Ole Miss, we probably get Lacy and a couple of others from the portal. We can't let RB's that led us to a 7 - 5 season hold LSU hostage.

I agree but can’t be a hypocrite when I’ve said Lane should coach Ole Miss through the playoffs 2 weeks before we hired him.

Don’t really know why deuce would’ve been trending towards ole piss . Seems a little fishy. And a few other New Orleans kids flipped to ole piss when they didn’t have a offensive staff

If we do that then we are just as weak as Ole Miss was for not letting Ole Miss not letting Lane coach in the playoffs. Let him coach and if the running backs coach who’s bad at his job and worse as a head coach gets kids to go to Ole Miss with him than we don’t need kids like that anyways.

Where do you people come from? Frank Wilson loves LSU and would probably love to be a part of what Kiffin is going to build here. I’m pretty sure it was not his desire to leave, but perhaps more that CLK wants his rb coach here. It’s amazing how fast the rant will turn on someone, like a pack of wolves.

I'm assuming it has started, officially. But it has to be approved by SEC and NCAA to 'assume coaching duties' (rules vary on sideline vs. practice by the way).
That might be a road block.
But Baker coaching makes the most sense in all aspects.

I agree if kids won’t to leave because of Frank then they ain’t playing for the Letters on their chest anyway. Frank recruited both but Berry has a lot more to lose than Cade. Cade has been here for 20 months, Berry for 20yrs he’s got roots, family, and skin in Louisiana.

I know there are plenty of varying opinions, but we collectively think that Lane should stay at OM to coach the playoffs, while still hiring and filling out his LSU staff, but also think Frank Wilson should be shown the door for coaching LSU while also looking for his next job because he isn’t being retained.
This is an incredibly dynamic situation that we just can’t seem to let play out without emotions busting from the seams.
