Rhode Island Attorney General more concerned with optics than solving case.

Mustapha Kharbouch's name, bio, and photo were released on X last night. For many reasons, he SEEMS like an obvious person of interest. Rather than acknowledge that, the AG was outraged that people were trying to do the work for law enforcement.
This does not sound like something a person who wanted to solve the case would say:

They're acting like there would be vigilante justice. No...this just seems like a plausible lead that would be easy to rule out...or detain.

Laura had a great point tonight — why haven’t we seen any sketches based on witness descriptions? Getting a sketch artist is usually what police do to try to get a description to the public.

One of the few conservatives student leaders on that campus is gunned down by a person who yelled Allahu Akbar and walked away. And these idiots will stand up there and tell you that they know absolutely nothing.

As much as I hate to say this, this is why we either split up as a country or somebody has to win. Because the two sides will never agree on anything. This may be to the point that criminals may just walk free as authorities consider demographics and political constituencies.
