The Later the Draft Pick 1st Rd: I favor Delane (CB) or Caleb Downs (S) as Impact Players

Later the Saints pick… the harder it is to find INSTANT Impact players.
—-Mansore Delane (CB) LSU
—Caleb Downs (S) Ohio State
These guys will hopefully be available.

Downs should be a top 5 pick

Get Delane or the best receiver available

Downs or Delane would be great. A receiver would have to be a true #1 IMO to take him there.
IOL at the top of the 2nd.

We can either taken an impact defensive player or take a WR in that range

someone like Bray Hubbard or Javon Kilgore could be there in round 2 or even early third. A nice fallback plan IMO if Downs is off the board.

When the DL had put pressure on the QB's and effectively stopped the run the young DB's have shined for New Orleans.
That's your answer.
Stay the course and build the lines on both sides of the ball.

I think he's a top 5 pick if none of the teams fall in love with a QB as the next "generational talent" and you see Mendoza & Moore top 5. If teams get desperate and we have 2 QBs in the top 5, I can see Downs falling a little; but not out of the top 10.

P&G glasses [OFF]
Delane is the best CB in this draft. If Downs or Delane are on the board, take it and run.

We will end up with 1 of the players below and I'm cool with any of them honestly. OT would be last IMO.
LB Arvell Reese
CB Mansore Delane
S Caleb Downs
WR Carnell Tate
WR Jordyn Tyson
OT Francis Mauigoa
OT Spencer Fano

OT Francis Mauigoa

If we hang on to our current 7th like you I think most of these will be there but we are trending for a 10th-12th pic. All of those are great players.

Its insane to me that he only allowed 2 first downs all season and played pretty much the entire season.

I'd be suprised if we are outside of the top 10. This is a projection with us being top 9. 2 QBs will be gone.
There's also no way that not a single DL gets drafted when 3-4 are projected higher than most of those guys. At least 2 of the players above will be available when we pick. There's probably a 75% chance we still get one of those guys at #12.

We need a DE unless a surefire beast is available like Downs or Delane.

dont think any NFL team would carry that much money on oline however we seem to have a QB and need to not get him beat up so
1. many teams have needs at oline so they may go faster than usual
2 pick one in 2nd round before the drop off occurs
3 who would cause the biggest drop off if we lost him - Cam and Davis so
4 there are no highly rated LBs in this draft
5 every team needs more pass rushers Falk , Parker and Bailey could be available
6 great teams must have strength on the lines one of those would be my pick
7. wr ,s etc
