You guys remember when Belaire was a good to decent school? Those days are long long gone and never coming back. Wassup with these folks and violence .. not all of them but always them ... BR keeps reaching new lows. I was just reading EBRPS reached a new record low in enrollment this fall ... no surprise .... all the formerly decent schools went straight to jigga city hell. Only a handful of good ones left.

In the 80s maybe. It was hood in the 90s for sure.

I was there 87-90. It was a great school then. Amazing how it went down the shitter at warp speed in the 90s.

Knew a white guy who graduated there in ‘97. He was definitely the exception by that point though.

The downfall of Belaire was when the NAACP made the medical magnet program switch from Belaire to Glen Oaks in early 90's. Destroyed Belaire and Glen Oaks couldn't even keep the program afloat.

i will say though that my Bellaire (2 L's) has followed a similar trajectory, but isnt all the way gone yet i dont think
