And all the commotion, the past couple months, no one has mentioned why we didn't wear purple jerseys this year.

We would’ve worn them vs Southeastern but players wanted all white.
Nah should wear our traditional Gold, White, Gold majority of the time.
Gold, Purple, Gold vs non-conference (Tech & McNeese) next year.
I’m okay with the occasional all whites or white/purple/white

I love the purple jerseys and like alternates much more than probably most of people on here. But when you say mix it up like at Ole Miss. Just no. We have tradition. We don’t need to wear different uniforms every week. We’re a big recognizable brand, not ole Miss or Oregon. We should wear gold white gold for all games except non conference and I like the all white once a year

LSU is a national brand...Alabama, Penn St, Texas, USC are also national brands. WE don't need gimicy outfits to draw attention to us!

Purple is part of the uniform. The purple jersey is one of the best, most unique ones out there. Wish we wore it more.

Agree. I actually like most of LSU alternate uniforms, but that combo is def my least favorite.

I remember back in the eighties... Lsu wore purple at home against Alabama. Tommy Hodson #13 looked good in purple.
Back then it was real purple too.Not that shade of blue.They wear now.

It’s not the 1980’s anymore. Purple is part of the uniform. Not saying every home game but it would be cool to see it for one of the big games every now and then.

LSU needs a new unified stripe for all pants, jerseys and helmets.
The shoulder stripe needs to go.
The lettermen L on the white pants needs to removed and replaced with Mike head.
Purple jerseys are a great look when worn and should be worn more often than twice a year.

My eyes are okay.. But on my t v l s u jerseys look blue.
This was a very important game back in nineteen eighty eight at home.Notice the purple jerseys.

OM isn't in the same tier as Oregon on this. They have one single template, just with four jersey colors and three helmet colors. Then white and grey pants.
