That's our QB. Putting his body on the line and getting what was needed. I quite didn't get the next sequence with Rattler though.

Someone speculated it was a planned bullshite play to take off 2 seconds

Tyler was beat up so Ratt went in to take a few seconds off but I think he went a little too quick on the throw lol
Could have been nervous about taking a sack so understable perhaps.

In think the trainers came out to look at Shough after the hit, so he had to sit out the next play. It wasn't a planned appearance for Rattler. His sole job was to just run a play to take a few more seconds off the clock.

I agree with you, he probably went a second or two quicker that ideal. But I don't blame him for that. You'd rather him go to quick than do something like take a sack or incur some sort of penalty to push the Saints out of FG range.

That’s exactly what it was, and it was very smart. Given where we were on the field, Carolina would have had, at worst, a Hail Mary attempt for the win, if the FG was missed.

Any penalty after snap ended the game though, right?

No, there wouldnt be a 10 second runoff for a holding or presnap penalty in that situation

Also, even if there was, the game was tied, couldnt have ended

Tyler said he faked the injury hoping to get the refs to stop the clock. He didn't know there was a flag.
