That prolly wraps up his career huh. Will miss all next year and he’s lost a step even this year

People come back from ACLs in nine months now. He will be back sometime in September.

At his age, an ACL surgery and recovery will be pretty straight forward and he'll be ready by next season to start. He won't need all the pre-season games to get sharp----maybe a half in the last game before season starts and he should be good to go.

Would not be shocked if it’s more like October 1 and comes back a little tentative. I know speed isn’t his game but the elusiveness is a big part and it likely won’t be instant.

His Brady career arc continues. This will make people like him more IMO.

I'm not stupid. No one plays forever. No one. But with advances in modern science and his high level of income, I mean, it's not crazy to think he can't play till he’s 45, maybe even 50.

I'm sure Mahomes will likely recover for next season. The bigger question is whether he ever returns to his 2022 self. He hasn't thrown more than 27 TDs in the last 3 seasons, with similar INT numbers and more sacks.

I don't know why anyone would have optimism that he's gonna magically get better after this surgery when he's been getting worse without surgery.

Because the decline in the Chiefs offense aligns perfectly with Matt Nagy taking over for Eric Bienemy. Also Mahomes always ran like someone who had had five torn ACLs anyway.
