Pennsylvania state police make 3.5 arrests per 100 stops. Does ICE do worse?

Chatgpt data point. Indicates also that the national average is 3-5 % of all stops result in an arrest. From what I see in the news media, ICE is held to a much higher standard. Why is that?

DHS just released a reel today that stated they have:

Deported 650K
Self-deported #: 1.5M

Figured that number would be much much higher but the logistics are pretty difficult I would think.

Takes a while to set up deportation even if some hippie judge isn’t declaring they can stay indefinitely.

The biggest problem is the backlog of cases.

Why don't we temporarily hire/appoint/deputize immigration judges? The number of immigration judges has DECREASED under Trump 2.0. Maybe that's cleaning out bleeding hearts, but immigration judges work for the DOJ. What's the delay?

We need THOUSANDS of immigration judges to clean up the mess created by Democrats.

##########-

"As of December 12, 2025, the number of immigration judges in the United States has decreased to approximately 600 under the Trump administration.
This marks a significant reduction from around 715 to 735 judges at the beginning of the year or at the end of fiscal 2024.
The decline is attributed to the firing or forced departure of nearly 100 judges since January 2025, with some sources reporting up to 103 judges leaving due to firings, voluntary resignations, or reassignments.
The Trump administration has dismissed judges across multiple states, including recent firings in New York, California, and Illinois.
While the administration has initiated efforts to hire new judges—including recruiting military lawyers to serve temporarily—the overall number of active immigration judges has continued to dwindle, exacerbating an existing backlog of nearly 4 million cases."

Why should every police stop warrant an arrest? Most are just warnings or citations.

Fines should go down while distribution should go up. There's too many drivers out there who need to be humbled.
