The Congressional Property Flip Lease Program. Buy a Building for $100k , lease it to the Government for $200k a month, Great ROI.

This kind of crap is why we can't get rid of the ABC Board in Alabama.

You government hates you just in case you needed a reminder.

We need a special committee to do nothing but investigate the finances of every congressman and their family & associates for their entanglement with government funded projects.
Every congress-critter should be required to enumerate ALL their 'investment portfolio' and keel it up to date = ANY deviation from that should be not only grounds for removal from office but also criminal prosecution.
Make the penalties so severe that any congress critter would be deathly AFRAID to allow themselves, or anyone associated with them, to get involved with any semblance of government financial entanglement.

And it isn't just leasing fed buildings. Its literally a feature of practically all discretionary govt spending at every level. If an elected official isnt getting some kind of kickback for either themselves or their family then your company isnt gonna get that govt contract and that assuming they even let anyone they aren't already affiliated with even make a bid in the first place.

Term limits, term limits, term limits. 8 years in the House, 12 in the Senate. It’s the only way to stop the grift.
