Definitely guilty of being a huge vag who couldn't beat a greyhound

I expect my dog to do the same for me.

That's a cool story.
Is there a place one can find even more great dog deeds of history?

Do you need them to be real, or just a good story?

We can't lose our souls, Fr33. No AI stories when it comes to the pups.

Hey, I trust no one now.
ETA: I do apologize for the hurt I've caused, though.

I've been producing original content here for 15 years. Not gonna submit myself to AI written slop now. It has no heart, no soul and no craft.
I was merely going to retell the story of Curfinn, wolfsbane. Probably apocryphal, but nonetheless a good tale of a good boy.

Curfinn, called Wolfsbane
Curfinn, called Wolfsbane
In ages dark, when monsters plagued, the forests and the plains,
Was found, a fierce and loyal hound, named Curfinn, called Wolfsbane,
In winter long, the shepherd's throng,
With swiftness he'd defend,
But on the flock, his master's stock,
Wolves came, again, again,
The shepherd's wife, she bore a life, a mewling babe to nurse,
And Curfinn too, did what dogs do, his bitch was swelled to burst,
Then came the bite, foe 'Finn can't fight, to butcher that poor flock,
The blizzard raged, for days and days, froze herd as hard as rock,
Their only shot, the shepherd's lot, was in a nearby town,
And so they strode, down winding road, where wicked wolves are found,
His wife and babe, 'Finn's bitch she bayed,
And none of them could run,
They heard the howls, Curfinn would growl, Shep cursed the setting sun,
But then, the wolves were on them, Shep swung his shepherd's staff,
Curfinn, he bit, and wolves would split, but more would block their path,
'Finn gave a bay, into the fray, he charged, his jaws a-snappin'
He ripped out throats, blood on his coat, Shep feared the worst had happened,
But there! A cave! A chance to save, his wife and babe and bitch,
They made it in, wolves came again, Shep's cries were pure anguish,
They bit Shep's legs, blood poured in dregs, his wife dragged him inside,
The wolves, a pack, the outlook black,
But then Curfinn would stride,
At cave entrance, so fierce his stance, head bloody, but unbowed,
His bay, defiance, steeped in violence, loyal, low, and loud,
So one by one, the wolves would come, and Curfinn drove them back,
With tooth and claw, by ancient law, took toll upon the pack,
By light of moon, he dealt out doom, blood slick as bodies piled,
Ere break of day, wolves slunk away, 'Finn slumped to rest a while,
With savaged ears, Curfinn would hear, pups whining, wanting teats,
On cold cave earth, his bitch had birthed, his task was now complete,
His master scritched, his nagging itch, "Good boy, I don't deserve ye,
You're free to go, and all will know, just how damn well ye served me."
His sight grew grey, with one last bay, his eyes closed would remain,
Built carved stone cairn, that all might learn, of Curfinn, called Wolfsbane.
