A pick six, 14 tackles, 87 rushing yards, 2td's, as Haynesville wins 18th state title (39-37) over Mangham.

Haynesville is lucky they had him....bc Mangham certainly appeared to be the better team there

Wow! Mangham had twice the yardage. Turnovers

Washington was one of the recruits people were saying was very underrated.
Haynesville seems to produce a sneaky good player every couple years.

I do not disagree with that. Both were good teams but Mangham seemed like they were stronger. Haynesville defense just came up with big defensive plays when they had to have them.
Mangham was talented and loaded. Glad for Isaiah to finish with a state championship.

He looks like Devonta Smith. Hope it pans out like that, too lol

Where'd you go to school? I knew a Kenny Morgan from Hammond.

I graduated from Haynesville 57/58 years ago. Been away from Haynesville for quite awhile. Isaiah renewed my interest in their football program when he committed to LSU.

Old School football. Zero passing yards...

Mangham is a surprisingly young team. A ton of sophomores and juniors. Most of their playmakers and sophomores and freshman including their qb and receivers. I figure they will be back in the next two years

Mangham supposed to win that game. They got about double the population of Haynesville. Nearly every starter on Haynesville starts offense and defense…Manghams do not. Like mentioned above, Haynesville just has a few great tough kids like Washington and just play old school football. Protect the football. Limit turnovers. Find ways to win. They did.

Yep same. Graduated from there. My family still lives there as well. Known his mom for a very long time. Family goes to our church. Very respectful young man. Very proud and excited for this kid's future.

The size of the schools are comparable. Congrats to both on their season but let’s not act like Mangham is 3-4A and Haynesville is Class B.

You think he gets that 4th star after that game and stats?

Sounds like he deserves it. He’s a difference maker.
