Frank being a pain and it’s even suggested tampering with recruits.

If Frank was tampering with recruits negatively towards LSU, he would've already been fired with cause.

I thought this at first.
At this point there is so much smoke, you’d be naive to think Frank is not the one leaking this stuff.
It is pretty clear he is lobbying for a job (that he isn’t good at) by playing politics and threatening to spike the punch bowl.
If you’re LSU, I say put your money where your mouth is. If you believe NIL is the future & there will be a premium on coaching and development — it makes no sense to keep Frank, who is quite literally just a salesman / ambassador.
If you’re so worried about him winding up at TX / AtM / Ole Miss, then clearly the admin doesn’t actually believe what I wrote in that last paragraph.
I’m over it. I said we should fire everyone on the offensive staff, and I meant it. We need to quit being pussies about this and bring over the guy whose backs have been at the top of the SEC in rushing for the last 6 years… that’s who Kevin Smith is.

LSU was last in the SEC rushing the last 2 seasons . That alone points to Frank shouldn't be RB coach.

Because he couldn't continue to get the kind of assistant coaches he needed to succeed. His first staff there got picked apart and he couldn't replicate it.

He did have the talent to bring in coaches. His first staff was really good. What he didn't have was the money to keep it going because he was at UTSA.
There are plenty of things to shite on him for, but you're stretching to add to the list when it's not needed. He was a bad hire for UTSA because a recruiting centric HC needs the resources to hire coaches that can handle the football part of it and they didn't have the resources after his first staff. UTSA was as much the problem as he was.
