I keep seeing doom and gloom about 26 and the bloodbath that’s inevitable (like Matt Gaetz’s arrest).

Inflation down
Gas prices down
Eggs down
Trillions of investment
Record spending for Christmas
Stock market records

Tariff revenue coming in and companies continue to move their factories back

Walking around Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, sure seems everyone is thriving and money is being made and spent.

I’m not an economist - can someone tell me what’s so bad? Clearly, I’m missing it.

You're making the same mistake as Biden...you can't argue with peoples lived experiences and tell them what they are experiencing and feeling day to day is not happening.

2026 is gonna be an epic year

More rate cuts, more jobs, more spending, more money for everyone, more expansion

The year of more

Sure, but what "lived experiences" are you talking about? I just paid a little over $2.50 a gallon for gas by the way. And I am in line for some pretty significant tax relief from the BBB.

Insurance is out of control
Taxes are out of control
Health Care is out of control
Housing is out of control

Those are huge chunks of people’s budgets.

Not to mention companies are slashing jobs left and right. I don’t care what the “jobs report” says because they are always corrected.

It’s trending in the right direction but let’s not say that this economy is good or thriving.

"For Black Friday 2025, U.S. online sales hit a record $11.8 billion (up ~9% YoY), with global online sales reaching around $79 billion"

US sales went up 9%. If people really feel "gloom and doom" that the economy is bad, why did sales increase? Logic would say "I'm worse off today so I can spend less this year".

These are disagreements (in any rational sense of the word) these are retards on both sides of MAGA and the TDS yelling the same talking points at each other trying to dunk on each side and not having any form of reasonable discussion and debate.

I see it with my own eyes. Everything is cheaper on my end.. Electricity bill way down, food costs down, gas down, everything is down for me - I am not sure wtf MSNow and CNN are telling people but they are wrong as always

Inflation is down? What does that mean? The prices haven’t risen in a year? Great….
They are still ridiculous compared to what they used to be.

Prices. Everything is expensive.
Peoples outlooks are bleak. Feelings win elections.

The housing market is a complete shite show. Not his fault but he's in charge.

That area was expensive as shite 10 years ago. Not surprising. Kind of a poor example to use.

I think what you are are missing is that you live in the free state of Florida. Too many other states are led by stupid and/or corrupt people whose concept of what is actually happening locally , nationally and internationally because they are literally being told what and how to think.

We are a nation being smartly and fiercely attacked from the inside. This has been going on for many years and the pace is accelerating.

The amount of people who are literally brainwashed puppets is astounding and scary. It’s like living in a zombie movie.

Nothing is bad for me. But I pay attention to what my family, friends, coworkers talk (and complain about) and the price of living is something they are very unhappy with.

Yeah. Thanks Dems. But the fact is that except for some things prices don't come down once they have gone up. Gas is one exception to that, and those prices have come way down. If you see prices falling across the board, it will mean we have some real problems.
