Kenner and the Hondurans

A large contingent of my inlaws that lean, if not a hard flop, to the left are all in a twitch on rumors of a giant Honduran roundup in Kenner and Jefferson parish.
My wife was in a couple of conversations with that side of the family and they made it sound like ICE was pounding on doors in Kenner, dragging them out from the dinner table kicking and screaming and leaving babies crying in the yard as they hauled Papa and Mamacita off to a detention camp.
He also claimed there were protests at the doors of all the Catholic churches led by the priests. If that being so, I have not seen articles saying that.
Is any of this close to being true?

A thread just below mine (that I had not read) posted about Brother's gas and chicken joint in Kenner denying service for the Feds.
I expect there is some sentiment in Kenner because there's a lot of foreigners there both legal and illegal but will that translate over to the Redneck and Cajun baws? I sorely doubt it.

I think it's a lot more fear mongering than what is actually happening.
I know people aren't going on the road and risking being picked up.
I imagine the only way to get those are going door to door. And I don't think that's happening.

I had a national guard buddy who was Honduran, worked for the old school border patrol/INS and was well to the right of Trump and Hohman on immigration.
