We could probably erase the blood donation shortages, by letting anyone with T lower than 500 get on the shots

I naturally have high hemoglobin, my dad does too. Give blood regularly, no issues. In my area, I see old people and homeless, no roid heads.

I need to go. Just got my latest results and my hematocrit jumped from 51 which is already high to 59.

Do any of yall do it on a setup basis? Like a standing app every 6-8 or so? Or do you jus have to go in whenever you can?

I don’t donate enough. Try to go once a quarter.

Because I have a very rare blood type, they harass me when it's time.

I used to donate quite often. Not sure why I stopped.

Back then there was some crotchety old lady who would call and harass me when it was time to donate again.

"Think you can make it in this week to donate?"

"I'm pretty busy, but I'll try."

"You'll try? You understand people are dying because of blood shortages, don't you? Think about that while you try."

I was tempted to hire her to help me with delinquent loan collections.

I try to go every 8 weeks in order to keep the hematocrit down plus I can bank the points for Amazon gift cards for xmas and/or birthdays.

I'm on TRT, so I have a Dr order, meaning I can just walk in whenever I'm ready and no appointment is needed.

Right now I'm going monthly but my order is weekly so that way I'm covered whenever I want to go in.

Any of you quit medications that are on the list that you can’t be on, in order to donate regularly?
