What the hell is there to do in Houston?

Have gone to other bowls games and spent time enjoying the host city…but there were actual things to do there…Phoenix (hiking, Scottsdale) and Nashville (Broadway obviously). If I went to Houston what would I do the day before and day after? With family.

You could drive on the world's widest highway at 27 lanes across going west towards Katy just to say you drove on it.

It's a small city - not much to do...

Houston is the world capital for concrete, traffic and mexican food.

Serious answer. Space center is worth a visit.

Space Center Houston, world-class art and science at the Museum District (MFAH, HMNS), outdoors in Hermann Park and Buffalo Bayou Park, and unique cultural experiences in Chinatown. I liked the zoo there. Lots of good restaurants. That’s about all I can think of.

Stay in Beaumont, drive in for the game. There's always plenty to do in Beaumont.
