Your the GM, what are your priorities for next years draft as we close out the season?

1. IOL- not saying it should be first pick but I think it’s the biggest need.

2. WR- I like Olave as a 2, and Vele is coming on as a 3. We need a #1 WR

3. S - I like our young guys but we need a stud

4. RB - AK may be around another year and Neal is looking solid as a #2 back. We need AKs replacement.

5. DE - Jordan is going to retire at some point and Granderson is a dog, but we need a young guys opposite Chase.

Or you could be a douche somewhere else.

Apologies for having discussions on a message board.

Shough’s scrambling ability will be deadly with a big bodied wr1 or game changing tight end

Seems dumb to take a safety with a top 10 pick, but I think Downs is probably the best player on the draft and a secondary of Downs, Sanker, Taylor, Howden, and Kool Aid would be a pretty filthy group.

But agree with your list. It’s a shame there isn’t a clear top WR in this draft because we really need a player maker out wide.

WR1- Olave is only a 2, but a true 1 would also allow Olave to show out even more as he wouldn’t be the only person opposing defenses need to game plan for

G- Fortner has been really good, starter quality at C. Move McCoy over to G and sign a G.

CB1- Koolaid & Riley are both doing good but neither are CB1.

DT- Shepherd & Godchaux aren’t it, Bresee needs help.

TE- Juwan, similar to Olave, is not a clutch playmaker.

LB- Davis is still good but slowing.
Werner is not improving.
Stutsman & Stallbird have flashed, may be the answer but we just haven’t seen it confirmed yet.

RB- Kamara currently is a 3rd down receiving back only, plus age/injuries.
Kendre looked poised to be RB1 but can’t stay healthy enough to be trusted.
Neal has been a pleasant surprise.

DE/Edge- Young & Granderson are a good duo, but need an explosive rookie.

S- Reid has been underwhelming.
Jonas Sanker appears to be the real deal & I’d like to see him starting next Julian Blackmon.

Yeh I think we need a stud on the interior of the DLine. Teams carve us up in the run game.

If I was coach./GM . Try to take down to where I know I can get a stud WR with 1st pick and get additional picks.

A guard or defensive end with second pick.

By 3rd and 4th picks, take best RB, TE , or DB available.

Later rounds take special teams guys ( a returner perhaps) that stand out and maybe grab another offensive lineman ( guard or center)

Last pick? See if there is viable college kicker or punter

Good write-up. I like neal but he looks like Mike Bell to me. With kamara about done we need to add and explosive RB

Draft the RB from Notre Dame and call it a day. No one else that I can say I actually like except Downs

No RB in the 1st

We don't want to have to pay a RB big money just as we are possibly going to be good.

In the path where we are good, Shough will be getting paid by that point too.

Kind of a fun fact - the last running back drafted in the top 10 to win a Super Bowl with the team that drafted him is . . . our very own Reggie Bush twenty years ago.

Considering we are probably winning 2 more games and picking around 10-12 I’d be fine drafting Love. Team could use some real excitement and love looks pretty great.
