Bought these in a local online auction last week and picked them up Wed.

CZ:
Gun is all steel and it’s heavy. I think it was around 3.6 lbs loaded (comes with 2 19 round mags). That weight helps tremendously with any of the recoil even though the 9mm doesn’t produce much. The gun is very accurate. At 15 yds I was getting about a 4” pattern free hand. The trigger is pretty good. A little squishy on the take up and then breaks I’m guessing around 4lbs maybe 4.5. The negative on the trigger is the reset, it’s longer than I’d like in a semi. Probably .25” reset.

Sig:
Gun is much, much lighter than the CZ. The trigger is very good. Very good wall, crisp break at probably 3.5-4 lbs and very short reset. Gun is fairly light especially with the cuts in the slide. The gun is also accurate. Not sure it’s as accurate as the CZ but close. Came with 3 15 rd mags. I may put a red dot on it and carry this gun. It feels really good in the hand.

Overall extremely happy with both of these.

I have a CZ75B and love the heavy feel. I agree with your other points. I may carry it some as well.

Congrats, you have a fine shooter. That SP01 is a fine looking gun.

Yes they are basically the go to CZ upgrade place for anywhere in the US.

I have a P07 and a P01. I love both of them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend CZ to anyone. The Shadow is going to be my next one.

I just bought a P-10C last week. I think when I get some rounds through it the trigger will smooth out. I have a P01 as well and it's probably my favorite. I'm sure I will add a 07/09 down the road.

I want to send both to CGW to get full upgrades. Only thing I did was send my P07 slide to get cut at Weager and added an optic.

The P10 has peaked my interest several times just because they have been super cheap at times and I know how good of a product they put out.

My P01 I put an mCarbo spring kit in. 7-8# DA, 4ish SA. I paid $475 otd at a local usa range last week for the P10C. I'm inpatient and my FFL guy isn't in my way to work anymore.

I carried a 229 legion for a while. Always liked it a whole lot.

How big a difference does that spring kit make? Pretty easy to do?

The SA is a little light for carry imo. But it is pretty good. It's not a bad trigger to start. The install is basically the same as a 75. But it is not a seer cage in the P01. Same order of parts. It takes some patience but not difficult.

Got ya. I may still look into it.

I actually like the trigger. I have the Omega version which is the same as the P07.

I bought that exact gun in the auction as well. Have not shot it yet but assume it will shoot just as well as the Pro.

Won’t tell you what I paid for mine though.

I have a P07 that I bought from a friend for a sweetheart deal who didn't want it anymore and the local gunshops were offering him pennies to sell it.
He bought it and the P229 at the same time and prefers the Sig. The P07 is excellent and I love it; just wish they'd offer it in 10mm

I bought mine new so you already know what I paid lol. If you have a newer model it will have a slightly shorter trigger set than the pro and other models. The older guns had more travel. The only other difference in the two is the M11A1 has all the internals phosphate coated for corrosion resistance. Shouldn’t affect operation though. The 228 was my duty sidearm for most of my Marine Corps career so I love these pistols

Mine was brand new as well.
Local gun store closed and all their new gun inventory was sold.

ETA: I like them a lot as well. I have 2 older P229 that are stamped “Made in West Germany” and also a P220 SAO in 10mm
