Plenty film out on him now. Teams try and make him a pocket passer now. Same with the guy at Baltimore these days. Mobility is great, as long as you can also beat teams as a pocket passer. That's why players like Brady played for so long....no mobility, but a strong arm, and smart reads.....teams can't defense that like they can some mobile qbs. That said, he has been hurt, and I'm sure he will improve.

Oh I thought you meant here since that would be a much more fun thing to discuss.

My guess? Because change was believing in his arm and making throws he was scared to year 1.

Washington is a flawed team. They have the oldest roster the in the league and not ideal draft capital moving forward. He’s also been hurt this year.

He's been hurt half the year.

Lamar threw for 4k and 40TD and ran for 915 last year in his 6th year as a starter.

There's also the fact that Terry McLaurin, who is pound for pound their best player on the team, has been hurt for the majority of the season.

I'm not saying it will happen, but I wondered if Jayden would have the same trajectory as RG3 when he got to the NFL. Very similar start though.
Both Heisman winners drafted by Washington.
Year 1:
RG3 - 20/5 TD/INT 3200 yds; 815 rush 7 TDs (offense rookie MVP)
JD - 25/9 TD/INT 3589 yds; 891 rush 6 TDs (offense rookie MVP)

Year 2:
RG3 - 16/12 TD/INT; 489 rush 0 TDs
JD - (missed games) 7 played 8/3 TD/INT; 262 rush 2 TDs

By year 2 both QBs started show the wear of taking NFL hits.

By year 3 RG3 misses multiple games and never starts more than 9 games the remainder of his career and his performance craters.

I hope JD can get healthy and have a better supporting cast, but he doesn't have the body to play his style and take consistent NFL hits. He's a much better passer than RG3 so if he can limit the hits, he'll have a much longer, more productive career.

Skins offense was banged up all year, could never get into a rhythm. Jayden will be fine, just a cursed season.

Jayden is a very good pocket passer. Let him get over his injuries and he will elevate.

You mean the guy that's in his 8th season and won the MVP award twice?
