I think everyone is over-analyzing Miami/ND/Bama

This is easy… Miami and Bama are in… Notre Dame is out.

Miami has a case… they beat Notre Dame
Bama has a case… multiple quality wins (UGA, Vandy)
Notre Dame has no case…. You can’t argue to be in the playoffs in these circumstances when you come to the table without a single Top15 win

According to the odds, Notre Dame is -1200 to make the playoff.
I think they are in. It is now between Bama and Miami.
Personally, I still think the committee will slide Bama between Notre Dame and Miami to act as a buffer. Expect Tennessee or Missouri to appear as #25 in the CFP rankings to help boost Bama's resume too.

If you want the precedent set for a team (specifically SEC for this site) who was in the field and then out after the SECCG, you’re an idiot. Period.

BYU should be in over Bama if that’s the case.
If you are a 1 loss or undefeated, the CCG shouldn’t hurt you.
If you have 2 or more losses, you should have to win that game to get in.
