Why would LSU hire a demoted DC from Syracuse as dline coach? If you are putting a championship program together, get championship quality coaches. IMO.

I’ve heard Kyle doesn’t want to coach at this level anymore. He likes to golf and spend time with his kids. He isn’t made for CFB coaching lifestyle. Can’t say I blame him.

Probably so, but I wonder. Yes, Kiffin is the new head coach and should pick his staff. Just seems odd to hire this guy.

Why hire a shrimp boat captain as your HC? It just works.

why hire saban from 1-15 dolphins
why hire andy reid who hadn't won superbowl in 15+ yrs coaching
why hire lane kiffin after shitteing bed in oakland
why sign jamies winston if he throws picks
why

no, not comparing DL from Cuse to these coaches/players - just examples

sometimes the program doesn't have the resources to recruit the talent you need to be successful - not enough NIL money - wrong scheme - not seeing eye to eye with HC

list goes on and on

Baker is our DC. we good.
Elijah is a hell of a recruiter and has trust with Lane

Not at all. He’s an elite recruiter that has connections with multiple kids on LSU’s roster.

If that’s the case, happy for him. Ruston is a great place to live and raise a family. Lots of great LSU alumni in the area!!

I'm pretty sure that we've been after this guy before. I think he was a possibility when Bo Davis came over. He's considered an elite position coach and a dynamite recruiter. We all love Kyle Williams, but it seems like he is ready to do other things.

Good one!! Been following LSU since being a freshman in 1966. Moved to Massachusetts to line next door to three wonderful granddaughters. Who by the way watch LSU football with me.

Only thing wrong with Massachusetts is no SEC football close enough to attend. Thank goodness for ABC!!

if we have to answer that question for you, you are one dumb son of a bitch who does not follow the SEC recruiting or really LSU football

I’m embarrassed for you even asking that question

Didn’t the current/former LSU oline coach have the same resume? Question is- Can he actually coach defensive linemen? Not just recruit them.

It was Kyle Williams. Playing resume at LSU and Buffalo was elite. Coached in Ruston at LHSAA level.
