It's an arms race. Same as ever. Why relationships with players and coaching still matter.

I hope the $17 million in staff includes Matt Campbell.

Cause otherwise that is a CRAZY amount of money for staff

No one can spend 30 million on players anymore, rules changed a few months ago. Teams can only spend 20 million for their whole athletic department, most schools are spending 15 million for football and the rest split between all others with basketball getting the bulk of the 5 million. Players can apply for nil outside of school money, but it has to be approved by NCAA.

Nah it’s changed. People get life changing money like that and it changes their hunger/drive/motivation.

Right, lets give a 17-18 year old kid 3 million dollars to play football.....what could ever go wrong. These kids are going to have to grow up extremely fast now.
