The kid was LSU the whole time until the very end when a boatload of cash came in. He didn't get better as the year went on, maybe that Michigan staff isn't for him. After all. I'm curious to see if Lane kiffin being here would change his mind..... I know I know screw him blah blah blah. But what if?

Nor should we. Oracle man crossed way over the stupid/desperate line paying him that kinda money. I know $12 million doesn’t phase him but I don’t care how much money you got, that is still ludicrous to give an unproven kid even half that much. Especially when it’s your wife the main reason and she probably doesn’t even know what a 1st down means.

He was all LSU because we were also going to give him “a boatload of cash.”

$12mm is nothing compared to what he stands to lose by not developing. Getting in the right program with the right coaches is much more valuable for a kid like him.

I do have a question? Say a player like Underwood leaves Michigan , does he have to pay back the NIL money?

Spending half the annual budget, or a 3rd of it, on one player isn’t the way to go if we want an instant rebuild.
