Copy the link, Use the <> button and paste it. I preview the post before submitting to make sure it's right

Instead of using the link button use the embed button. It’s the button that looks like this: “< >”.

If you want to post tweets in the future and "embed" them so they'll show up in the post, just copy the URL to the tweet. Right underneath "img" and above "B", you'll see that < > symbol. Just click on that and then paste the URL of the tweet in the box that pops up.
