Seems like both will be left out if BYU wins.

If BYU loses, well then it will be very controversial no matter what.

Either they will jump Miami over Notre Dame when neither team played a game, OR they will send Notre Dame to the playoff over Miami when they are right next to each other in the rankings.

Because Miami can't win that crappy conference and ND is only kinda in that conference.

“Better losses”

“Notre Dame is playing great football” (against scrubs)

The less Yankee influence on southern sports - particularly college football - the better.

Texas Tech being written in stone as in is also stupid. Their SOS is in the 100’s. Big 12 should be a one team league this year just like the ACC should’ve been last year.

Neither ND or Miami are winning the natty so it really doesn’t matter.

I like it. We can play Tulane, Texas Tech and get a rematch against Indiana

I guess that means everyone should hope for a BYU victory.

There's an bias because Notre Dames losses were at the beginning of the season.

I do think ND has looked like the better team majority of the season. But you can't deny the HtH either.

In an ideal world, the college football world would tell the Dame to go frick themselves or join a conference.

If BYU wins and bama loses is where the real fun would begin in terms of watching what reasoning for whomever they chose the committee comes up with

The reasoning this week was “a strong first half”

Miami has worse losses but better wins. It’s the Bama/ND/etc rule.

They get to count bad losses as wins vs other teams good wins don’t matter.

This happens all the time and isn’t something new. It’s the corruption that is college sports.
