US at War with Venezuela?

How is Venezuela a threat to Americans today?
Why do we keep blowing up fishing boats and preparing for land strikes as US aircraft carriers are posted up near their coast?
Also, trying to shutdown a sovereign countries airspace?
Why hasn't congress been briefed on any or all of these fishing expeditions?
Does anyone want answers?

Trump is punishing Maduro for what he perceives as Venezuela’s participation in Dominion/Smartmatic’s role in the 2020 election.

my guess is that we dont want a country with large oil reserves, maybe the largest in the world, to be openly hostile toward us along with being friendly with china and russia.

We should just let them continue to invade America with the TdA? We should just let them continue to flood our country with drugs?
The country is a complete shithole because of their rulers and it is hurting America, while they continue to strengthen relations with our biggest enemies on the planet.
I for one, like what we are doing. Where else should we park our Navy right now? Why not cut off a major source of drugs and terrorists that are killing Americans by the thousands?
