Kiffin - DC Ties

I tried to look through Kiffin's previous staffs to see DC candidates with ties if Baker leaves. The list isn't as long as I thought but still somewhat interesting.
Don Martindale - Michigan DC ('07 Oakland LB)
Tosh Lupoi - Oregon DC ('16 Alabama OLB)
DJ Durkin - Auburn Interim HC ('20-'21 Ole Miss Co-DC)
Bryan Brown - Ole Miss Co-DC ('24-'25 Ole Miss Co-DC)
Lupoi and Durkin are the standouts. I wonder if Aranda could be an option if he gets canned. Shiel Wood would be an exciting outside candidate.
Above all, I hope Tulane screws it up.

Brown is a very good coach as well, a lot of people have not heard of him, but he is in that Golding, Ron Roberts, Aranda tree.

I haven't claimed to have sources recently at all, but I asked a guy that would know (that wouldn't share shite about head coaching stuff) and he said new contract has been agreed to and he's getting a raise, which is wild.

I think they'll know about Baker and Tulane today, so maybe not. They could already be throwing out feelers just based on the vibe they're getting on Baker as well. Just thinking about Baker or Durkin running the defense while Lane has the offense locked down gets me fricking pumped, though. I know that.
