What the hell was that by alontae taylor??? He basically moved out of the way and Archane ran right by him. No attempt to tackle him WTF????

Saint need to let Taylor walk in FA. He's not worth the contract he'll be trying to get.
Jalon Kilgone could replace him day 1 as a Rookie and be at least as good as Taylor is with much more upside.

What happened to him? I recall there being a lot of praise for him his rookie year, then it was downhill ever since

He showed flashes in his rookie year that never turned into fire. He was a liability on the outside so they moved him to nickel and aside from the occasional blitz he's not really shined there either.

If you watch the play prior, I believe Taylor injures himself. Looked like an arm or shoulder.
I believe that is why he avoided contact.

Taylor is a decent player, but his tackling has always been suspect.

Yeah I want to say it was last year either during the Tampa game at home or maybe it was before but somehow he got hurt.
He goes in to hit. Chris Godwin, doesn't wrap up or anything and Godwin just bounced off of him and ran for a long touchdown.
I remember thinking man. What a half-assed effort that was and then later on come to find out that he was hurt.
Burgess has really played Good for the Saints. It seems like back there in the secondary though.
