I thought it was getting colder just checked and it dropped a few degrees, I was dressed for a saddle or climber so I’m toasty in this box. Down a lil Debbie wishing I brought some coffee

Area 2 public
Cold and windy
Mathews lift RS

Got up here midday yesterday and set up in the rain. After the rain stopped I had a real pretty 7pt come in to 10 yards, but he was a young deer so I let him walk. Set up in the same spot this morning. Haven’t seen anything yet.
Good luck!

Sitting in my warm house drinking coffee. The hunting wouldn’t bother me,I’m afraid I might kill something and then I would have to skin it.
I’m getting old,75 in couple days.

That wind seems killer today. Tomorrow should be the day before more rain Thursday/Friday.

Taking my 14yr old daughter Sunday. She got her first deer last year on her 2nd hunt ever. But we are going climb in some trees. Got her a harness to go in some lock on stands in the woods.

You need to find some younger friends!! I clean all the deer my buddies FIL shoots cus I hope one day when I’m 80 someone does it for me.

Area 4
Back on the same box I was in this morning 6.5 creedmore.
Optimistic that seeing a long way is the ticket and they will be on their feet. Probably should be in a thicket.

I decided I'm going to go sit on a soybean field for the last couple hours of light tomorrow. I never do that. Hoping Wednesday means no one else out there (WMA). With my luck nothing comes out, we'll see. I prefer early morning hunting, I don't like having to clean and such into the night. I guess it's dark at 430 though, wouldn't be done too late.
