I just did it. Came from a Newport. I have always putted well. I think the misses have been more consistent for me and my pace has been better. In all honesty it's just different move across the board. Would be personal preference if you like it. Try it, if you don't like it go back to the old putter

If will take some time adjusting to it. Be patient, practice practice practice to get a feel for it

I will be keeping this one in the bag for a while

i am blind in my left eye and moved to it several years ago. I was a bad putter before and now it is a strong part of my game as I almost never 3 putt. I side saddle on all putts 15 feet or less

I am about to make the move. Over the last 20 rounds I am averaging 37 putts. It is well known that putting is my biggest weakness and it kills me in match play. I need to do something before I quit altogether.

Same with me... I'm horrendous 4' in. Just can't get it lined up. I'm a little better left handed on the close stuff, but I don't like switching back and forth.

I had two putters sitting in the garage so I bought new shafts, 17” grips, and went to the putting green. I tinkered with the weight a little (lead tape) and I found a new gamer. I’m dabbling with changing my spider but it’s so comfortable at 35.5” I am unsure adding the 2.5-3” will see any noticeable difference.

Honestly, wouldn't help as much as you think because I am terrible at the short ones too.

Just bought this one. Seems like the best option that isn't $600. If I like it and think a LAB or better brand will make a difference, I may end up splurging. I have heard good things about the Cleveland's overall too, so at $200 had to take a chance.

I just bought this yesterday. I went putt a few with it in the evening and can already tell the difference. Hopefully it transfers to the course.

I sincerely appreciate everyone’s input!!!!!

I've got mine coming in Friday. Unfortunately, my Club Championship starts Saturday. Going to be a game time decision if it goes in the bag.

Played 9 today to get prepared, and of course I had 12 putts total

Switched about 4 months ago and went with the LAB Mezz Max in blue with the white shaft and grey alignment. Great looking putter. Anyhow, I love it. Distance control on longer putts is the main thing I had to get use to but overall, it’s just so easy. I feel like I can make any putt. Obviously don’t but it gives me a ton of confidence. Makes short putts really easy and I think about absolutely nothing when it comes to form.

Got a LAB DF3 a couple of months ago. Still experimenting and it's not clearly better yet but I love the feel. Most of the pros, male and female, using broomsticks bend over quite a bit and keep their elbows out. Langer stands more upright and that seems to work better for me. Zero-torque putters do feel different.

Rotating multiple Lab’s yet enjoying a CB DF3 with 17” SS so far, short 41.5” broom Oz1 works great as well

A new putter will not make you a better putter. It will inspire confidence if it's the right fit. There are a lot of used LAB putters because they're not for everyone. I can't putt well with them to save my life. Definitely try a "zero torque" before you buy one. Also, Edel made the low torque putters well before any of the current ones and can be had for cheap. Get either an E or EAS series.

I recently switched to a longer BGT shaft, and took off the alignment aids on my putter and while I am not great with it, I'm consistent and eliminated the 3 putt. I attribute it to the longer shaft allowing me to position myself differently depending on how my eyes are lining up on a particular day, and the BGT shaft giving me extremely consistent speed control.

How long did you mess with it before deciding it's not for you. Just got a DF3 (standard grip) with money I got as Christmas gifts.

I find I have confidence in short putts and decent distance control when hitting multiple putts on the practice green. However, I have one 9 hole round on the course yesterday and pretty much 3+ putted everything because I have no reference for it right now and I wasn't good at it before . Actually bought this putter to help with that, but know it'll get worse for a few rounds before it has a chance to get better.

I will say, the shaft placement on the DF3 requires me to set the ball very far up in my stance. I now focus to have the shaft just forward of center, which puts the ball right inside my front toe. It's odd feeling and starts to creep back slightly as I go, which leads to right pushes. Another thing that will take some time for me.

I knew pretty quick that it wasn't right for me. I also had the Evnroll Z5s for a bit and tried the LAB after that and made looking down at the LAB really challenging. Zero/low torque putters make the stroke a bit easier, so, I've gravitated to finding the best low torque option that lets me set up with confidence. It was down between the Evnroll and Edel EAS and I got a steal on the Edel so, that's what I'm rolling.

Putting is such an individualistic thing, but if I can't set up with confidence then I know I aint sinking the putt..... intentionally

I did want to like the LAB because that insert is probably one of the better feeling ones out there, IMO.
