There have been some rumors that he didn't like college ball and is going to resign

I don't know if that's true though

I know Kyle Williams played for LSU, but what has he done this year? The run defense was not good.

The DTs did not make any plays outside of a goal line stand against Arkansas by an 8th year senior at DT that did nothing from a technique standpoint and decided to jump the pile. I have never seen anything like that and it will never be coached that way.

Dom McKinley is he on the team still? Gooden is he still dominating the oline in summer camp and swim moving himself out of the play?

What is so special about Kyle Williams?

He played for LSU, that’s good enough for most in here.

The 27th ranked run defense in the country this season?

If that's true then I am mistaken, but it did not feel that way this year.

Veritas wtf are you talking about ? The run defense wasn't good. Go look at some numbers. And he didn't even get to recruit his guys. The defensive line played damn good against the run.

If you’re talking more about the QB run killing us at times, I agree. But that’s not necessarily DTs fault as much as it is with DE and not over pursuing.

But yes the run defense was excellent for us this year. Better than the pass D according to the stats

Probably need to figure out who the DC is before we worry about the rest of the defensive staff

The run defense was good and would have been better if Whit Weeks was healthy all year.

The SEC ranks for yards per rush given up improved from 12th at 4.28 yards per rush to 7th at 3.62 yards per rush. That is a huge jump from '24 to '25.

Feel ain’t real. Our DL took a step forward this year and the let the LBs make explosive plays.

This was his first year ever coaching beyond HS. He did a damn good job considering that, and I expect he will only g3t better.

If he leaves I hope he is coming back to coach defense at Ruston. Their defense has not been the same this year. I think his wife is from Prairieville though, so maybe he stays around BR.

The word I’m getting around the golfing community is that he wants to go back
home. He had a bigger sense of fulfillment teaching our younger kids.

Maybe he needs to be a HC at the high school level. Supposedly, he almost interviewed for the West Monroe job last year before removing his name.

For as many years as he has played in the NFL, it sure must be nice to have so many options (help young kids versus play golf and watch the grass grow).

My thing is, I know he's a DLine coach, but if you want a real solid in to get back on track to potentially land Elijah Haven, he's the way to do it. His brother in law is Haven's basketball coach at Dunham and his nephew is good friends with Haven. I feel like he's worth holding another year just to see if he can help get LSU back into those sweepstakes.
