I can kind of relate
I was born in Morgan City, have spent 12 years of my life, on and off, living there, but a majority of my time in Florida. No Louisiana accent in me whatsoever. When I occasionally go back to visit, a little creole sneaks out of me when I talk. Something in the air.

I know this because I used to coach ball and hung out with many coaches on recruiting trails and coaches the LSU & Auburn recruiting camps.
Bebe & Kiffin go wayyy back,
And this is in NO WAY A SUBTLE JAB, it’s 2 guys cracking jokes basicall & complimenting Bebe for what he accomplished here & a Homeage to Bebe’s home state.
Those 2 are super tight and good friends!

I didn't take it as a jab. I took it as he felt the excitement and passion Coach O and had to call him to tell him.

No.
For the record, I heard this term on football broadcasts over the weekend. It isn't just a BK thing.
Kinda like when Saban said "break contain". I had never heard another coach use that term.
People from different parts of the country have different words they use.
I worked with someone who used the word whenever instead of just saying when. It just sounded different.
As did BK. As did Nick. And others.
