I don’t see how you could possibly bring him back after that A&M debacle
I get it’s not a great cycle but you know Beamer isn’t the answer, a lame duck season only sets your program back further

These enormous buyouts really discourage firing a guy in the NIL era.
There should be a way to jettison your coach and avoid the buyout, like find another school with an unwanted coach and a similarly large buyout and execute a trade. If your coach is a miserable failure and you have to fire him mid season, you can do so and drop him in the coaches transfer portal for a Coach To Be Named Later.
