It’s an interesting question because it SHOULD be the definition of a rebuild year. We are losing a shite ton of starters.

I know it’s a new age, but it’s going to take one hell of a portal class to rebuild the roster enough to be elite next season. Finding a QB will be massive as well.

With that being said, what are you baws expectations next season?

All depends on who is playing QB.

Harder schedule next year… plus it will depend on who we get in portal to fill the gaps.

Same as every season. Be one of the 4/5 in playoffs. Easy

Next year's schedule is interesting. The road games are very managable. The toughest games are all at home. It will be a lot of close games.

You just never really know.. portal will be huge. If we can get a big time quarterback I think we have the skill players to be as good as anyone. I think Lanes offense makes it easy for these kids and is effective. If Blake keeps the defense like it is now then I dont see why we couldnt go 9-3 or 10-2.

Top 15

Playoffs should be the goal obviously, but man that’s gonna be tough. He’ll have to build a helluva transfer portal.

Improvement. Year 1 show improvement on Offense and be competitive to setup for playoff run in year 2.

Impossible to say without knowing how the roster will shake out. A much improved offense and 7-8 wins should be pretty safe and achievable. Add a winner at QB and that could be higher.

This is where I’m at. Feel like with the roster he’s walking into anything more would be an unreasonable ask.

Need to be in the playoff hunt year 2 though no questions asked.

No doubt

That’s the thing about this new era. Are they? We’re not the only roster that’s gonna get turned over. Being good or bad one year is not really a good indication of how you’ll be the next. I think you’re probably right, though.

But so much is gonna depend on who hits on the best QB in the portal. And who all has theirs coming back on the schedule? I can’t see Arch leaving early. The rest, I have no idea.

I find it challenging to think UK, Auburn, and Arkansas road games are equal to Alabama, Texas, and Georgia road games.
