I’m stoked out of my mind, but I’m not giving anyone credit on this one.
The smoke was always coming from inside our AD — several people knew we felt confident & were all in via a few degrees of Kevin bacon.
The only chance was that kiffin left us at the altar or we got played, but everyone and their mom knew we had the offer on the table + he was our #1 guy / some mutual interest.
I’d be more inclined to believe these posters were remarkably tied into the program if it had been an unexpected target.
