I love the hire but let’s face it, he does have a track record of bouncing after a few years. If he succeeds here does he jump ship again for something else of interest?

Where else would he go? Let’s be real other than like 3 or 4 schools there isn’t better college jobs. Unless he goes to NFL.

Never change, LSU fans. The ink isn't even dry on the contract and most are asking how long will he in Baton Rouge. Can you not just enjoy that LSU has hired a new coach?

Maybe. But he just left a team that was an NC contender. He clearly wants to win multiple titles and not just 1

You don't think he strongly considers his options if Alabama comes calling? Or try to get a few million more out of LSU?

So, what? A few years with an elite hire is better than a decade of mediocrity.

Great people get opportunities and might leave, it’s the risk you take when hiring the best.

Screw that Alabama doesn't bring anything that LSU doesn't.

5 years.

After one or two national championships, he may go to the NFL with the "right" ownership: San Francisco, Dallas, or the New York Giants.

Otherwise, Kiffin will stay at LSU until he is ready to retire.
