Tulane likely makes playoffs if they win the AAC champ game

Tulane fine with Sumrall coaching

No drama. No butthurt. Tulane knows they were lucky to have him.

Ole Miss is the 8th or 9th best job in the SEC. They should have felt lucky to have Lane as long as they did to bring them their best run in over 50 years. And Lane wanted to guide them through playoffs.

But Ole Miss got uppity and butthurt. They overvalued their program like so many 40 year old fat single moms on Tinder. So many flavors and they choose salty.

Winning 10+ games 3 years in a row and making the playoffs made them forget who they are.

Yeah but like Moscone’s said, any game coached by Kiffin would just be an advertisement for LSu

I hate Ole Piss, but I can understand it

It’s as simple as that. They could have acted with humility and gratitude, but instead chose to act like a middle aged divorced woman that’s had too much wine.

Yes, I'm sure if Lane leaves for Bama in 5 years in the exact same situation then LSU will be very calm and accomodating

This went down this way because Kiffin is a self centered piece of shite

He couldn’t just leave without showing his arse. He’s never left anywhere without showing his arse.

And the Tulane game this weekend will be an advertisement for Florida

Tulane and Florida aren’t rivals in the same conference.

No way yall can be this short sighted and dumb.

This is delusional rival fantasy. No coach has left LSU for another CFB gig in any of our lifetimes.

Not quite sure if ever?

If Lane leaves it will be for NFL

Bama (post saban) is not a big jump from LSU in terms of ceiling

Anyone who doesn’t see it this way has an LSU bias, Kiffin bias, or both.

The situation would not have been ideal, but would’ve given the school and players the best chance to make a run.

Salt is what enhances the flavor of what it's on.

Nothing wrong with choosing salt.

Have an upvote sir.

In retrospect it seems this was ALL about OM wanting attention and NOT wanting the LK announcement to LSU.

Now OM has just sacrificed their playoff game for their elitist attitude, which they shouldn’t have in the first place.

It’s a message board made for opinions.

LSU fans don’t like differing opinions but Ole Miss told Kiffin to go away and Kiffin acted like a child.

To be fair, it is a very different situation with Ole Miss, they are losing their coach within the conference yo a hated rival.

That said, Ole Miss has not handled this well and continue to dig their hole deeper by the minute - losing offensive staff and replacements for Kiffin are getting thin - Golesh and Summral are off the table. They needed to be proactive 14 days ago and they were not.

Nah, you can't be a cuck and let him coach the team anymore.

I see your point, but that’s their problem not LSU’s. They can run their program as they see fit.

It’s a difficult situation and Ole Miss made their decision. That’s their problem now.

I’m not saying they should have. I’m saying they could have politely declined and let him go instead of dragging this out with half baked meetings and reporters calling him a hoe.
