Scott Woodard...Why did we fire Scott? What’s the hate against him?

Why did we fire Scott? What’s the hate against him? Just curious.
Bc he hired Brian?
Yes, he looks like fat goof.
But, seemed like he would have hired Kiffin as well. Brian, at the time seemed like a reasonable hire after Ed left program to create stability, just quite didn’t work out. He had hits with Jay in Baseball, Mulkey in basketball etc. He’s had two stints at LSU, and left a great job at AgM to come home.
Trying to understand why he was so bad?
We can’t say overpaying, as we are about to pay Kiffin to be highest paid coach.

He did not interview Kiffin the last cycle which was ridiculous! Miss the fb coach you get fired unless you are Florida and you see how that’s gone

He single handly killed the Men's basketball program. That alone should be a fireable offense

The root cause was firing Wade. Even though that was not solely his call. Then Kelly made PR missteps and eventually mailed it in.

Because someone’s head had to roll, just happened to be his. I know he’s an alumnus, HOWEVER remember he did run Will Wade off. People really didn’t like that move baw……..

I'm glad he's gone. He's terrible at picking football coaches, terrible with contracts. He's also best buddies with that psycho James Carville, which isn't good for LSU.

Because he wasn't a good AD - no matter how many clowns on this website - including Matt Moscona - claim that he was. Plus he went against what the Governor said.....

He really screwed up with Kelly and that came in the shadow of what he did with Fisher at A&M. No one really cares about Mulkey and WBB. Johnson was great, but it’s been stated on here that he actually wasn’t Woodward’s first choice, so… Also been stated on here by his defenders that he was great dealing with boosters and BOS, but I think he and Landry got crossways over partisan differences, which was a mistake on Woodward’s part.
