How come so many posters are incapable of spelling a name correctly?

I attended Louisiana public schools and can spell fine. I have never once typed the word Kiffen. Are people just dumb? I think that has to be it.
It's like when Burrow was here. He was in his second season with LSU and people on this board were still calling him Burrows.
